K C Das Commerce College is situated in Guwahati, the capital city of Assam. The college was established by a group of educationists. At the time of its inception in 1983, it functioned as an evening college. In 1994, it became a day college and started imparting education in the field of commerce. K C Das Commerce College is affiliated to Gauhati University, Guwahati and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The educational institution offers an undergraduate level course in commerce, that is, Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), which is a three-year program.
K C Das Commerce College also offers commerce education at Higher Secondary level, under the guidelines of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. Apart from commerce courses, K C Das Commerce College also conducts UG courses in the field of computer applications and management as well as diploma, certificate and PG diploma level courses in various branches of education, by functioning as a partner institute of IGNOU. The commerce college is well equipped with modern facilities in its campus.
