Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, popularly known as BMCC, is located in Pune, Maharashtra. Deccan Education Society established the college in 1943, with a view to provide trained manpower in the field of commerce and business, to the country. BMCC was affiliated to Bombay University (presently known as University of Mumbai) until 1949, when the college gained affiliation from University of Pune.
Currently, Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce is conducting courses in various disciplines.
Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce Pune has always been known for its high academic standards at all levels, right from Junior College to Post-Graduation and Research. The overall results of the college have been consistently high all through the years. Not only academics, the college also provides enough opportunities and support for the students to participate in various extra-curricular activities like sports, music, dramatics, debates, N.C.C and social services as well.
