Patna Dental College & Hospital came into existence in 1980. Located in Patna (Bihar), the college is managed and run by the Government of Bihar. The college works with a motive of imparting quality education in the field of dental science. Patna Dental College and Hospital is affiliated to Patna University and approved by Dental Council of India (DCI), New Delhi. The college is also recognized by Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Government of India. To accomplish its aim, it conducts undergraduate (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) and postgraduate (Master of Dental Surgery). The UG programme of the college is a full time four-year course, while the PG programme is a two-year full time course.
