About Us
Newton’s Institute of Engineering was established in 2001 with a mission to make the best engineers with good attitude, skill and knowledge; an institute, which in due course of time to become an epicenter of knowledge for creative solutions.
We have been able to build up excellent infrastructure for carrying out advanced research and have equipped with research laboratories. The Institute occupies nearly 25 acres land in Alugurajupally around d 6 kms. from the town Macherla. With the magnificent Nagarjun Sagar waters on one side, and with hills and vast open spaces on others, the lawns and landscapes in the campus provide an ideal setting for learning.
Over the past decade, the educational activities of the Institute have extended beyond the campus. This has been primarily due to the collaboration established by the Institute with various industries, R&D organizations, developmental agencies, etc. This activity for all the on-campus programmes is through the finishing school which as an integral component of the academic curriculum takes the classroom for a specified period to a professional location where the students and the faculty along with the industry experts get involved in real-time problems.
