L.J. Institute of Engineering & Technology (LJIET) is a premier educational institution offering excellence in engineering education and research started its academic in 2007 under the aegis of Lok Jagruti Kendra (LJK) to run full Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate course. LJIET is established with the aim to develop comprehensive professional training to bridge the existing gap between formal system and the realistic modern technological skill requirements of the Industry.
LJIET is a part of the L J Group of Institutes (seat of knowledge), a dream eternal, being unfolded in time through the relentless LJK quest for excellence in the pursuit of Wisdom. The dream is a wide network of institutions and centers providing quality education. As an institution which bears the traditional Gujarat hallmark of academic brilliance and social commitment, LJIET has successfully carved a niche for itself in the sphere of engineering education in the state within a very short span of its existence.

Affiliation
L.J. Institute of Engineering & Technology (LJIET) is initially affiliated to Gujarat University in 2007 and then after establishment all the college of Gujarat has been affiliated with Gujarat Technical University since 2008. The institute follows the curriculum and the schedules of the University for academic and operational purposes. Since its inception, LJIET has been granted University Affiliation for its all course. The institutes courses have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Admission Procedure
In accordance with the policy of the Government of Gujarat and like other Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate institutes affiliated to different universities in the State, LJIET admits students through centralized admission process conducted by Joint Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) of the State.
The Institute normally surrenders 75% of seats to the ACPC which finalizes the admission, collects the fees and sends the data to the Institute. Admissions to remaining 25% seats of Management Quota are made out of the requests received from other students who may have qualified as per ACPC norms in response to the Institutes advertisement. However, the admissions to these 25% seats are finalized only after they are confirmed by ACPC.
