The institute has been offering quality training in various departments of Hotel Management. It has modern catering technology. Some of the AIHM specialised fields which have been in demand among the students and also in the sectors are culinary skills, bakery, food and beverage service, front office management, accountancy, housekeeping management and allied topics.
Proper counselling is rendered to the students to choose the right branch of the industry. Practical presentations and emphasis on nutritional and hygienic values are other significant aspects of the technical training given to the students. All the laboratories are spacious and the AC-enabled soundproof classrooms have smart boards. The institute has three interlinked blocks: the Administrative Block and the Practical Lab Block and the Block accommodating the Theory Classrooms.
AIHM Guwahati has well-equipped kitchens, bakery equipped with modern infrastructure and up-to-date confectionary units.
We also have a designer restaurant with display kitchen facility. Students are provided hands-on training about the food and beverage service ethics. There is also a bar with modern decor.
