Himachal Pradesh, which in every sense reflects its literal meaning -"In the laps of Himalayas", is the home for one of the newest Indian Institute of Management -IIM Sirmaur.
The temporary campus of IIM Sirmaur will be at Himachal Institute of Technology, Near Dental College, Rampur Ghat Road, Paonta Sahib, Distt Sirmaur, H.P - 173025. Poanta Sahib is an industrial town in the south of Sirmaur district. National Highway 72 goes through this town. The river Yamuna passes through the town.
IIM Sirmaur is being mentored by one of the top most business schools in India -Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. IIM Lucknow in the past has successfully mentored two other IIM`s - IM Rohtak and IIM Kashipur. The first batch of Post Graduate Programme in Management at IIM Sirmaur is expected to start from August 2015.
