It was established under the sponsorship of PRS Education & Research Foundation, formed by the engineers with the purpose to produce proficient professionals. The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak to conduct fulltime, four-year, undergraduate technical program along with full-time, two year, postgraduate course in Business Administration. Applied College of Management & Engineering has also gained the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Haryana.
