College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram/Trivandrum (Kerala), set up in 1939, was envisioned by the then King of Travancore. The college started functioning by offering degree and diploma courses in three branches of engineering. Today, it has grown into one of the premier institutes for professional courses, in the state. College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram now offers undergraduate, postgraduate as well as doctoral courses in several streams.
College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram also conducts courses in Business Administration (MBA), Computer Application (MCA) and part time M Tech.
