JNTU College of Engineering is a prestigious college of technical education. The college was started in the year 1946, under the post war reconstruction program. It is located in a wide-spread area of 200 acres of land in a tranquil atmosphere at Anantapur. In 1972, when Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University came into existence, the college becomes its constituent part.
