Located at Kothamangalam in Kerala, Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, popularly known as MACE, was set up in 1961. The government-aided college holds the recognition of being the first technical college in Asia, under the management of Christian community. It is working under the guidance of Mar Athanasius College Association, a registered charitable society. MACE is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, to conduct engineering programmes at undergraduate as well as postgraduate level along with MCA programme. In 2003, the college was approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and was awarded accreditation by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). -
