KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR) Mumbai is one of the top management institutes of India. The institute was established in 1981 as a part of Somaiya Vidyavihar Educational Complex. SIMSR is one of the very few management institutes to receive accreditation by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), for its PGDBA & MMS Programs. The institute is also ISO 9001:2000 certified from BVQI and has been receiving A+ Grade, consistently.
The SIMSR has spread around the area of one lakh square feet. It is also ranked amongst the top 16 B-Schools in the country, according to Business Today, 2009.
