Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology was established in 1980. It is located in the IT city of Bangalore. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is a grant-in-aid institution of Government of Karnataka and most of its departments are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Currently, Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology offers technical courses in ten branches of engineering. Apart from this, Ambedkar Institute of Technology also conducts postgraduate courses in Technology (M Tech), Business Administration (MBA) and Computer Application (MCA). The modern facilities provided to the students, in the campus, help them to acquire in-depth knowledge in the field of engineering. -
