Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) Bhopal was jointly established by the Government of India and Government of Madhya Pradesh, in 1960. Initially, the institute started with the name of Maulana Azad College of Technology (MACT) Bhopal. Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology has awarded with the status of `Institute of National importance` and it has declared as a Deemed University.
