We understand that learning starts very early in life, hence it is important to inculcate the educational virtue in the young. We ,at Children Welfare Centre accomplish the same by imparting quality education to students from an early age, thus building and enhancing their proficiency and providing them a platform for all round development. We strive for excellence in academics and work towards instilling the same aspirations in those enrolled with our institution.
Registered under the Public Trust Act in 1950 and have served the society for over three decades, our institution has consistently contributed towards the betterment of the learning abilities in our students. We strongly believe that a thorough growth is possible only if the students are facilitated to develop and augment the academic aptitude with the aptitude for extra-curricular activities like arts, crafts, sports, physical fitness, social welfare etc.
Our education complex at Versova, Andheri accommodates more than 4000 students studying from the Pre-Primary level all the way up to University Graduation (Degree College) levels. The students can choose from a myriad of courses in numerous streams like BAF, BMM, BMS etc. Our Educational tenets are based on the fact that teaching and learning go hand in hand. This is the reason that in 2009 our trust has started, a B.Ed college (Teachers Training College) and a Law College at Malad (West), Mumbai.
With state of the art facilities, laboratories set up with modern and advanced implements and the library shelves decked up with a voluminous collection of books, the students of Children Welfare Centre have a lot to speak about their institution! Our team of highly qualified and well trained teachers understand very well that successful learning requires them to simplify the concepts by disembarking to the understanding levels of the students.
Our diligence and hard work has been acknowledged, by the Education Department of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, in the form of the Best School in K-West Ward award. Another feather in our cap has been the Best Teacher`s State Award that was conferred up on the Honorary Principal of our institution, Mr. Ajay Kaul for the academic year 2002-2003.
