Janta Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was established and registered as a society in 1960.The Founder member being Late Shri. Vasantrao Naik Ex. Chief Minister M.S. JSPM started Phulsing Naik Mahavidyalaya at Pusad with an enrollment of 100 student in 1961. The Society started the Engineering Degree courses in 1983-84, and B. Pharm, Polytechnic courses in 1984-85 . Today the society imparts quality education to more than 10,000 students.
This could only happen due to the inspiration of Honble Late Shri. Sudhakarrao Naik, Ex. Chief Minister of Maharashtra State and Ex. Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Hon`ble Shri Manoharrao Naik, Secretary JSPM, Hon`ble Dr.N.P. Hirani, Ex. President JSPM.
Since 1983, JSPM is involved in social service. It has started and judiciously maintained schools, hostels, Colleges in the rural area.
