Indo Global College of Architecture, Abhipur established in the year 2003 is the first Architecture College amongst self financed colleges set up in the State of Punjab. The college is planned on a sprawling campus in the Indo Global Education City, at the foothills of Shivalik Range Hills and offers a befitting serene environment suited for imparting knowledge. Dedicated to achieving high benchmarks in architectural education, the college is managed by `Indo Global Education Foundation`
The institute is duly approved by Council of Architecture, AICTE New Delhi and Punjab Govt. and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University. It is also a Test Centre for NATA. Recognizing the growing need for professionals in the field of architecture, Indo Global Colleges of Architecture was started with the aim of molding architecture students into high caliber professionals.
Since its inception, through holistic nurturing, the college has made rapid progress in the arena of academics, co-curricular, extracurricular and cultural activities. Since the first batch which graduated in 2008, the college has awarded Bachelor of Architecture Degrees to eight batches, who are now gainfully employed and meaningfully contributing to the society.

It is my pleasure to cherish my decade long association with the Indo Global family which has set up the College of Architecture, in a 54 Acres sprawling campus of Indo Global Education City in the lush green and serene surroundings in the foothills of Shivaliks with potential to become another Shantiniketan.
As we all know, in this scenario of globalised world, India is on the path of soon becoming a fully developed country and there is rapid growth of infrastructure, the buildings, roads, bridges and in the field of industry and various technologies. During the last few decades, awareness about the profession of Architecture and the role and importance of Architects in the process of Nation Building have been greatly appreciated and recognized by the society and the government.
In such a scenario Architects are expected to play a pivotal role not only as merely building designers but also as creators of a beautiful, holistic and sustainable living system. Thus the role of Architects is now extended and diversified to include specialized disciplines of planning, landscape, energy efficiency, renewable resources, environmental design, urban design, conservation, interior design and infrastructural and structural design as well.
Since Architecture is considered the mother of all arts. An Architect is expected to be a holistic person possessing sufficient understanding, knowledge and sensitivity towards Literary, visual and performing arts i.e Poetry, Painting, Sculpture, Dance, Drama and Music and above all a true lover of nature.
We, at Indo Global College of Architecture, transform the young minds to become very creative and holistic Architects fully imbibed with human values and professional ethics and eager to serve the society and live a happy and healthy life.

Quality Policy
The Indo Global College of Architecture is committed to nurture and enhance the latent potential and talent of each student under the guidance of dedicated and well qualified faculty members. This creative field not only requires design excellence but also knowledge of various allied disciplines for creating a good built environment. The college provides quality education by:
· Constant effort to update college infrastructure with latest state-of art design studios, lecture theatres, library, audio visual labs, CAD Studio with latest software and material museum.
· Adopting Global Best practices in Architectural teaching. A detailed Academic calendar/ curriculum is prepared subject-wise for each semester to include lectures, site visits, study tours and cultural activities for holistic development of students.
· Encouraging students to make presentations/seminars in order to improve their architectural vocabulary and building good communication skills and confidence.
· Encouraging students to undertake case studies of important buildings related to the design problems for proper analysis and learning.
· Organizing study tours to historical monuments for inculcating proper understanding and respect for rich cultural and architectural heritage.
· Sensitizing the students with regard to the current and future Global and national challenges such as Global Warming, Climate Change for Sustainable Development.
· Inculcating good human values so as to make them responsible citizens.
· Organizing site visits to ongoing construction projects for creating awareness and dove-tailing the theory and practical aspects of building construction/structure/materials/site development etc.
· Inviting Eminent Architects/Experts to share their experience, vision and thoughts on the emerging trends in Architectural Education and practice.
· Encouraging visits to Exhibitions on Building materials and building technologies.
· Encouraging participation in professional meets organized by Indian Institute of Architects, Council of Architecture and other Architectural institutions.
· Encouraging students to organize cultural, literary, quiz contests to improve their knowledge and professional skills.
· Organizing Inter class/house competitions to promote better understanding and healthy competition among the students and promoting team-work.
· Improving quality of education through Students Feedback System.
· Regular Faculty Development programmes to keep abreast with professional updates.
