Agarwal Siksha Samiti is the largest Educational Trust sponsoring various educational institutions right from K.G. to P.G. in the Historic City of Hyderabad. Agarwal Girl`s High School was the first offspring of Agarwal Siksha Samiti started in the year 1925. The pioneers of Agarwal Siksha Samiti, Shri L.N. Gupta, Shri Bhagatram Gupta, Shri B. Kishanlal, Shri Sagarlal Gupta, Shri Mahaveer Prasad Sanghi and Shri Banarsilal Gupta played a dominant role in the growth and prosperity of Agarwal Siksha Samiti.
During the Pre-Independence Days, Agarwal Girls` High School was started in the year 1925 and opened the door to the children irrespective of their caste, creed and free education was offered to all the Harijan Children. Agarwal Siksha Samiti was founded in the year 1954. Since then, the Samiti has been expanding its tentacles and moved up to Post Graduation Level with various Professional Courses catering to the needs of more than 4000 students. At present Agarwal Siksha Samiti is sponsoring 12 institutions with two P.G. Centres spread over a land of 1.237 hectares situated at Patel Market, Charkaman, Hyderabad and providing employment to more than 400 staff members.

Shankerlal Dhanraj Signodia College of Arts & Commerce was established in the year 1971-72 and Dept. of Business Management P.G. Centre was started in the year 2001 with an intake of 40 students and with an increase in intake of 60 Students in the year 2004. The department is strengthen by well qualified, University Selection Committee approved faculty, excellent Lab & Library facilities and a good track record of academic & placement activities.
Sri R.A Agarwal is the Chairman Trust Board of Agarwal Siksha Samati & Correspondent of S.D. Signodia College of Art`s and Commerce & PG Centre this college. Ch.Dal Padal is the Principal for U.G. & P.G. Courses, Miss Rama vysa is the HOD of M.Com and Dr. Pallavi K. Ranganadh is the Director for MBA Course.
Presently, the college is offering U.G & P.G Programmes of Osmania University B.Com (General), B.Com (Computers), M.Com & M.B.A. At present the strength of the College is 368 with manpower of 36 dedicated teaching & non-teaching staff.
For the past 4 decades, of its existence the college has produced many graduates and Post graduates who have excelled in various fields of life.
