Industry

oriented learning
The advantage of the college being situated in an industrial hub has allowed regular and close
interactions with reputed industries such as SAIL
IISCO Steel Plant, Chittaranjan Lo
comotive Works,
Durgapur Projects Limited, Dishergarh Power Supply Corporation and many others. Academic
autonomy will allow the Institute to include representatives of these industries in the boards of
studies. The requirements of the industries will thus
find a place in the syllabi and curricula.
Proximity to industries will also allow inclusion of industry experts as visiting faculty. The Institute
will also have the option to plan industry

linked projects for its students at both UG and PG levels.
Regul
ar interactions with industry will allow industry personnel to jointly supervise such projects.
