Regional Pharmacy institute (RPI) was established in November 1979 by the Government of Tripura at Abhoynagar, Agartala 799005, Tripura west with the Financial assistance of North Eastern Region to cater qualified Diploma pharmacist throughout the North Eastern States. The Institute was upgraded to degree level during November 1997 with renaming as Regional Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (RIPSAT) and now imparting both diploma and degree course to the students of seven (7) North Eastern States successfully. The Institute in this span of time established its credibility to impart quality education. In near future we have a plan to begin the post graduate course in pharmacy.
