Hans Raj College is one of the largest constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. This co-educational Institute offers education in all the three streams - arts, science and commerce, and is located on the Mahatma Hans Raj College Road, in a locality named Malkaganj (fairly close to the fashionable & bustling street called Bungalow Road in main Kamla Nagar area) in the University`s North campus.
The College has been ranked amongst the Top-10 Science, Arts and Commerce Colleges of India several times in the last decade or so.

The college was founded by the D.A.V. College Managing Committee on July 26, 1948 in the memory of Mahatama Hans Raj, a pioneer in the field of education.
