    COMPUTER SCIENCE

  • Admission to the programme shall be for the benefit for the students who passed 12th from up board/CBSE/ICSE etc., admitted in the B. Tech programme during the academic session 2015-16 and onwards.

    Admission shall be on the basis of merit of UPSEE examination conducted by UPTU Lucknow through counseling students in their first and second semester of the B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering programme.

    Number of seats = 120 (one hundred twenty)
    Following are the objectives of this programme

    Preparation- To make students  technically sound for successful career in industry that caters to the needs of Indian and multinational companies and to motivate them for pursuing higher studies.

    Learning - To impart necessary fundamental knowledge of computer hardware and software engineering, information security and networking.

    Breadth - To develop the ability among students to formulate, design and implement software based projects which will spread over broad application areas.

    Professionalism - To inculcate professional and ethical attitude, effective communication and presentation skills among students and to provide opportunity for them to work as part of teams on multidisciplinary projects.

    Training - To conduct various technical seminars and industrial visits to provide training in latest trends in technology and be a lifelong learner.

    Learning environment - To promote in students awareness about  life-long learning and to inculcate in them culturally vibrant, socially sensitive, enterprising and leadership qualities.
