Electrical Engineering- This branch is one of the parent branches of the engineering. Since Electricity is the main source of energy & plays a pivotal role in the development of all industries, which is an indicator of the prosperity of any nation, it offers job opportunities in almost every industry. The course contains the basic concept of electrical machine, control systems, power electronics, digital electronics and microprocessors etc.
Career Prospects
Electrical engineers design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability. Electrical engineers are involved in projects from the concept and detail of the design through to implementation, testing and handover. They may also be involved in maintenance programmes.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10 + 2 physics &Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects.
