An electrical engineer is to design, develop, operate & maintain new generation of equipments & appliances. So the Electrical engineering Branch has to produce Hi-Tech engineers who will help in the development of the nation by their theoretical as well as practical knowledge. The department also conducts many student level National Technical Symposia to enhance the students technical skills and to update their knowledge in modern developments in engineering and technology.
Jobs offered are in core electrical, production, repair, maintenance and development of electrical appliances or even planning and executing power houses. With the changes in the demand of the job sector as well as the choice of the jobseekers during the last couple of decades the EE students also gets job in non core areas like IT sector also.
