The Management department was started in the year 1997 with MBA with an initial intake of 30 students which is 120 to day. The department is proud of its vast alumni who are occupying covetous positions in the corporate world and have made the AQJ flag fly high.

The department boasts of eminent academicians and dedicated faculty whose unnerving endeavour is to see its alumni placed high. The faculty is well experienced with rich teaching and industrial experience. They impart state of art management education coupled with industrial exposure and adopt cutting edge pedagogical tools to train the students in honing their management skills.

GEMS CLUB: This is an MBA student club, the objective of which is to encourage the students to form into groups and conduct management development activities among themselves. This helps the student to sharpen their communication skills and develop their public personalities and behaviour. Industrial visits are arranged and guest lectures are organized involving speakers from the industry as well as academics. This helps the student to get a practical insight into the contemporary business practices.

LEGENDS CLUB: This is a BBM student club wherein the young business management students concentrate on individual development under the guidance of the faculty members..

Events: The Management department organizes management programmes to train their students in the practicality of management.

LOCUS: It is a State Level Management Meet directed at exposing the students to the practicalities of management while training them in event management. MBA and BBM students of state wide colleges participate in large numbers every time this meet is organized. The meet hosts many management and cultural events to provide a platform of competition to the future managers.

The MBA department has been hosting LOCUS sine the year 2006 every alternate year in a large scale.

COLLOSEUM: AQJ Centre for PG Studies organized its Decennial Celebrations during February, 2008 to celebrate the ten year mark. This was named as Colloseum which was organized for two days on a large scale for the student fraternity. The event hosted Management, Technical and Cultural events together under one roof and proved to be a great success in the city. More then 60 student teams competed and the AQJ students had a great time organizing it successfully.
