M. Tech
The institute offers the following M.Tech courses.The eligibility for admission for the M.Tech degree Course will be as per the guidelines of the Government of Kerala/CUSAT. B. Tech Degree with 60% in Engineering, High GATE score preferred.
M. Tech - Computer Science with Specialization in Data Security
This is a four semester PG Programme based on CUSAT syllabus. The course capacity is 18 and GATE qualifiers are given preference in admission. The subjects are Cryptography and Network Security, Computer Networking, Supercomputing, Parallel Computers, Number Theory, Data Compression, Algorithm Analysis and design etc.
M.Tech in Computer Science with Specialization in Network Computing
M. Tech - Electronics with Specialization in VLSI & Embedded Systems
This is a four semester PG programme based on CUSAT syllabus. The course capacity is 18 and GATE qualifiers are given preference in admission. The course is well structured based on the latest advances in VLSI & Embedded technology, practicals and simulations based on state of art software such as Cadence, ARM, Xilinx etc.
Regular workshops and training sessions, are organized in embedded systems, VLSI and virtual instrumentation. Though it is not a part of the curriculum, it enables the students to have hands-on experience in software’s currently used in industries which will be beneficial to the students later, during the completion of their projects.
M. Tech - Wireless Technology
Wireless technology is rapidly evolving and is playing a major role to make life easy, automated and mobile throughout the world. Starting from cellular phones, Satellite television, Remote Garage-door openers, cordless computer peripherals, to Wireless LAN, WPAN, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, GSM, GPRS, Edge, WAP, i-mode have become very popular for a well advanced and developed civilization. These trends create an ever increasing demand for well-educated communication engineers who understand the developments and possibilities of wireless communications.
M.Tech - Power Electronics
The field of Power Electronics is changing very rapidly and hence it is the need of the day to have state-of-art knowledge in this field to cater the requirements of industry in a better way. Developments of advanced technologies of electrical machines have also widened the scope of power electronic controllers. With this in view, the programme focuses on imparting education in the field of power electronics and its applications to electrical machines, drives, industrial equipments and power systems.
