Mechanical Engineering
About the Course
Mechanical Engineering- The department assimilates three simple elements: Gifted and talented faculty; an emphasis on fundamental principles of core sciences; and an academic ambience that inspires one to address the technological challenges of the future. ME-APEX is backed by a number of well developed laboratories such as CAD, CAM & MAT Lab, with state of the art hardware and software. The basic laboratories such as heat engines laboratory, Automation laboratory, Metrology laboratory, Heat transfer laboratory, Fuel testing laboratory, Machine Tools laboratory, Material Science laboratory, vibration laboratory and Industrial Engineering laboratory have fully fledged facilities.

Electrical Engineering- This branch is one of the parent branches of the engineering. The course contains the basic concept of electrical machine, control systems, power electronics, digital electronics and microprocessors etc.
Career Prospects
Electrical engineers design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability. Electrical engineers are involved in projects from the concept and detail of the design through to implementation, testing and handover. They may also be involved in maintenance programmes.
