- Our students acquire an aptitude to conceptualize, design, produce and showcase their collection with confidence and zeal. At the Fashion School, the students learn an entire gamut of skills required in the apparel industry, which includes illustration, designing, merchandising, pattern making, draping, surface ornamentation techniques and garment construction. The students are also provided with extensive practical experience through live projects, industry visits and participation in fashion events.
The Fashion Design courses enable the students to acquire greater appreciation for design, develop a deeper sensibility toward fashion aesthetics and nurture their individual creative potentials.
The Fashion and Apparel Industry exposure provides our students with an added advantage over their peers and sharpens their abilities in creative thinking, clarity in ideation, presentation skills and encourages them to develop a personal style which they can call their ‘very own’. Over the past decade more than 2500 students from the creative school have been successfully placed in the industry.
We have built an extensive network with the industry to assist students with their traineeship and final placements. Our students are placed with some of the leading national and international fashion designers, retail brands, export houses and buying houses. Some of these designers and organisations include Rohit Bal, JJ Vallaya Tarun Tahilyani, Oscar de La Renta, Ritu Beri, Satya Paul, Tommy Hilfiger, Globus, Pantaloons, Shahi Exports, Orient Craft, to name a few.
