MANAGEMENT MEET

A Management Meet which facilitate the students of various colleges to exhibit their managerial skills & Talent is organized every year in the month of March/April. Events which focus on the specializations viz., HR, Marketing, and Finance are organized with student participation of more than 1500.

INDUSTRY - INSTITUTE INTERACTION

A continuous and healthy interaction with industries is essential for any management college to retain its dynamism. This will go a long way in upgrading the skills of the staff and the students. With this objective, Aurora’s P.G. College is on the verge of signing MOUs with industries. This is an important step in identifying the common working areas for mutual benefit. The college has established contact with industries with the primary intention of:

Developing consultancy activity

Giving the staff hands-on experience by allowing them to work in the industry for at least two months in a year

Conducting industrial tours for students

Arranging mini projects in summer

Catering to industrial requirements by encouraging students to work on projects that will directly benefit the industry

Assisting the placement cell in identifying positions for students in the industry.

SDP PROGRAMME

AICTE sponsored Staff Development Programme on ‘Marketing of Services was conducted for the faculty of Management Department for 15 days during 21st June to 5th July 2010. Another SDP programme on ‘Emerging trends in Financial Services’ is proposed to be conducted.

SEBI WORKSHOP

The Department of Management organized a one day workshop Financial Planning for Young Investors in association with Securities and Exchange Board of India on 16 April, 2013 for the students of Management.

NATIONAL LEVEL SEMINAR

A National level Seminar on `Talent Management`sponsored by AICTE, New Delhi was conducted in the campus on 1st May, 2013. The Seminar attracted more than 100 participants from various colleges in and around Hyderabad with more than 35 paper presentations. The seminar proceedings were published and participation certificates were awarded to the delegates.
