B.Com(Commerce)- Stands for Bachelor of Commerce. Typically, B.Com is a three year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) with subjects such as accounts, maths and economics. The B.Com Honours course has 72 credits having 18 papers of one hundred marks each.

1. Choice Based Credit System and range of subject options
2. The university encourages students to choose subjects across discipline. However, the choices of the students are limited to the freedom as stated in the table given above for B.A, B.Sc. and B.Com streams.
2. Post Graduate Courses ( M.A./M.Sc.)
PG in English, Economics, History, Mathematics and Physics.
Post Graduate courses have been introduced in the College to ensure vertical mobility of the students and to enhance Research and higher pursuits of Education in the state. Moreover, Sikkim does not have requisite number of qualified teachers in above mentioned subjects. Schools and Colleges of Sikkim are running short of teachers in Mathematics and Physics and Sikkim University has not been able to meet this huge demand of teachers for these courses. Introduction of PG programmes in the five subjects will contribute positively towards providing the much needed qualified human resource in the state. Introduction of PG programmes would be an important and necessary step towards upgrading this College to a State University.
FEE STRUCTURE
Vide notification no; 58/DIR (HE)/ HRDD Date: 20/5/2015, the State Governement has waived all fees including examination fees from the academic session 2014-15 for the students having Sikkim Subject or Certificate of Identification. The student who do not posses Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification shall pay the college fees as under, namely:-
1. Students belonging to the other states of India
a. 1st Semester -Rs.1271 for students of B.A/TRTM/B.Com.
Rs. 1371 for students of B.Sc./B.A (Geog. Hons).
b. Subsequent Semester:Rs.321/- for studnets of B.A.
Rs.421/- for students of B.Com. and B.Sc.
2. or Foreign students- over and above the fees as stated above Rs. 500/- per month as tuition fee.ACADEMIC PERIOD (Ref: University academic calendar 2015)
Under the Sikkim University, the College will have summer and winter breaks for the student and faculty members which will be as follows:
