Course Content:
Some of the subjects which are taught in BCA(H) course are Digital Electronics,Business Systems and Application,Visual Basic, PC Software, Computer Architecture And System Software.Information System Analysis and Design, Programming with C, Mathematics, English Language and Communication, Data structure with C and C++, Multimedia, Internet and e-commerce, Database Management System, Object Oriented Programming with C++, Software Project Management and quality assurance, Data communication and computer Networks, UNIX and Shell Programming, Windows Programming, Object Oriented Programming with Java, Human-Computer interaction, Advance Unix etc.
Future Prospect:
On successful completion of the course one will be equipped with the necessary qualification, knowledge and skill to enter directly into a career in IT industry. He/She even is able to pursue higher education at the Masters Level or any other higher qualification in India or abroad. Alternatively he/she is equipped to start their own business in any field within the abroad spectrum of IT or its releted areas.
Course Duration:
WBUT`s Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Application is a three year full time course.The course is divided into six semesters with a range of specialization as elective subjects in the final semester. There is also sufficient emphasis on field projects for building practical experience.
Eligibility:
Any students who has passed 10+2 (General/Vocational) examinaton with English/Functional Engilish(in CBSE) and mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Application/Business Mathematics and Statistics/Business Economics including Business Mathematics/Modern Computer Application/Information Practice(with pass marks) are eligible.
