  • INTRODUCTION

    The Three Years Law Course leading to the LL.B. Degree is a six-semester full time course. Students who do not wish to practice as Advocates, are eligible for the LL.B. (General) after successful completion of the second year (4th semester). On successful completion of three years (6th semester) the LL.B. Degree is awarded. There is an examination held by the University of Mumbai at the end of each semester.
    ELIGIBILITY
    Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission for Sem. 1st and 2nd
    (As Per Bar Council of India rules) :

    Bar Council of India may from time to time, stipulated the minimum percentage of marks not below 45% of the total marks in case of SC and ST applicants, to be obtained for the qualifying examination.

    Provided that such a minimum qualifying marks shall not automatically entitle a person to get admission into an institution but only shall entitle the person concerned or by the government concerned from time to time to apply for admission.

    Applicants who have obtained 10+2 higher secondary pass certificate or First degree certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission in the integrated 5 year course or 3 year LL.B.  Course as the case may be.  However, the applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/post graduation through open universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for procecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in law courses (Circular by BCI No. LE. Cir.: 02/2010 dtd. 20-12-2010.

     
    PROCEDURE CONCERNING THE ADMISSION

    For filling the Admission Form, the applicant must come personally to College.

    The Application form for admission should be duly filled in and signed by the student himself enclosed with the required documents.

    Students of backward classes i.e. SC/ST/OBC/NT/DT/SBS/VJ etc., are required to mention whether they seek the GOI Scholarship or Freeship.

    If yes, they have to submit separate set of relevant documents at the time of admission.
