- A Candidate seeking admission into three year LL.B ( Semester System ) CBCS Course shall be a graduate from any University with at least 45% of marks in aggregate ( 40% in case of S.C/ S.T Students ) in the qualifying examination. The examination passed must be recognized as equivalent to that of the Utkal University. The selected candidates for admission shall have to pro0duce the College Leaving Certificate and copy of other certificates, Mark-sheet and conduct with 4 nos. of Passport size photograph.
COURSE STRUCTURE:
1. As regards implementation of CBCS in 3-years LL.B course in different Law Colleges affiliated to Utkal University, it is unanimously resolved to adopt the CBCS pattern as prescribed by the UGC taking into account the course curriculum prescribed by the Bar Council of India from the session 15-16. 2. The course curriculum ( syllabus ) shall contain the following subjects in different semesters as total no of papers 30 Papers ( 5 papers in each semester ) Each Paper 6 Credit Each Semester 5 papers x 6 credits = 30 credits

Each paper will carry 100 marks ( Theory 70 marks and Internal 30 marks ). Internal Test shall comprise of both written ( 20 marks ) and Viva Voce ( 10 marks )
EXAMINATION :
There shall be a mid semester examination carrying 30 marks ( Internal assessment ) and at the end of each semester there shall be an end semester ( University ) examination.
DIVISION:
I. 50% or more but less than 60% of marks shall be awarded 2nd class and II. 60% or above shall be awarded 1st class. Reservation of Seats and Weight-age for admission will be3 given to candidates belonging to S.C , S.T., Physically Handicapped and Sports Persons etc. the reservation and Weight age will be made according to the instruction of Government and Bar Council of India issued from time to time.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION:
A candidate admitted in to LL.B Course must have to enrolls himself to the 1st Semester examination for which he / she is eligible at the 1st chance after which he/ she shall be entitled to appear the back examination of that semester and other subsequent examinations.

MIGRATED STUDENTS:
Students coming from other universities and seeking admission to the Capital Law College are required to pay Rs.100/- towards registration and processing fees at the time of admission.
ATTENDANCE:
Minimum 75% of attendance is a must for being eligible to sit for the University Examination.
APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION :
Admission are made into the course 14 days after publication of the results of the degree examination of Utkal University Form of application and copy of the prospectus can be obtained from Capital Law college Office on payment of Rs.300/-. Application and Prospectus to be sent by Post requires Rs.100/- extra by money order payable to the Principal, Capital Law College, Bhubaneswar with a self address envelope 9’’ x 4’’ with requisite Postal Stamps. Application form duly filled up by the candidates should reach the Principal on or before the last date fixed for submission of forms. The institution shall not be held responsible for Postal delay. The copies of the following documents must be submitted along with the application. 1. H.S.C or equivalent certificate 2. +2 or equivalent certificate 3. +3 or equivalent certificate 4. Mark-sheet or B.A., B.Sc / B.Com. or any equivalent 5. Certificate of any higher degree if any 6. One Passport size photograph 7. Original Money Receipt of the Application form. 8. Requisite postal stamp in the intimation letter.
ADMISSION FEES :
A student has to pay Rs. 15,000/- in shape of Cash or Demand Draft of any Nationalized Bank payable at Bhubaneswar in favour of Principal, Capital Law College, Bhubaneswar at the time of admission that includes annual tuition fees and other fees etc. Students selected shall produce the following documents and original at the time of admission for verification. 1. College Leaving Certificate from the college last attended. 2. 3 nos. of Passport size recent photographs. 3. Intimation Letter 4. Original certificate from H.S.C to onwards. 5. Original Mark sheet for verification. 6. Utkal University Regd. No. for verification. 7. Migration certificate in case of students from any University other than Utkal University. 8. Requisite fees as mentioned in the Intimation Letter. 9. No admission without CLC and time extension fo
