    Department of Electronics & Communication started functioning from the academic year 1998 for B. Tech course. The department lays stress on all round development of the students as well as faculty and laboratory staff by providing them conducive academic environment and necessary infrastructure for carryingout academic and research work. The sense of self discipline and responsibility is inculcated in the students and staff. The department has distinguished faculty, Most of them holding M.Tech degrees. The website will provide one more channel of communication between the department and students and will help in faster dissemination of information. 

    The Department has obtained UGC-Autonomous Status in the year 2014 and is running the programmes successfully meeting all the requirements. The College Academic Council, Board of Studies of the department strive to provide quality education and most advanced curriculum and syllabus to make the students industry ready and excel in the contemporary business world.


    The Department was Accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
