The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in 2001-2002. The department offers a four year degree program in Computer Science and Engineering with an annual intake of 120 students, two year M.Tech P.G. program in Computer Science Engineering with an annual intake of 18 students and also two years M.Tech P.G. program in Software Engineering with an annual intake of 18 students.
The mission of the Department of Computer Science Engineering is to produce and disseminate theory, principles, practice and know-how of computing in the information age, for the critical analysis, design, evaluation, and improvement of computing systems in tune with the needs and demands of changing times. It is our objective to prepare our students to be successful in computer engineering practice and to be able to pursue advanced studies in computer engineering and computer science, on a competitive universal basis. The mission is a culmination of our effort to meet the mission of Raghu Engineering College and the department`s overall objectives.
