Civil Engineering Department has well qualified, highly experienced & efficient teaching staff. Majority of them have wide Industrial Experience, which is beneficial in guiding the students. This is supplemented by well equipped laboratories. In addition professionals from automobile, process, manufacturing & fabrication industries are invited to deliver expert guest lectures to sustain the technological growth. Students have various divisions like production, Industrial Engineering, R and D work, Refrigeration and Air conditioning to work with, in addition they have the flexibility of being employed in computer software and hardware industries as they basically use the automation techniques in Industries. They have wonderful scope for higher studies in India and abroad in specialized areas
.Facilities:
A separate internet lab with 4 Mbps bandwidth is provided to staffs and students. Around 500 dedicated systems are available for conducting online examination. The department takes active role in arranging expert lectures as well as Industrial visits for benefit of the students. National level student symposium resonance is conducted yearly. Students are encouraged to take up industrial projects. Moreover the students will also be motivated to present papers in student seminars, paper contests etc. Staffs are motivated to present paper in International and National conferences and workshops. The department has dedicated Research lab, Seminar Hall and E Classroom.
