The Department of Science and Humanities consists of English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry disciplines. All the disciplines in this department exist as separate divisions and maintain individual identity. The Department comprises highly qualified, experienced and goal oriented members with specialization in various fields. The Department aims to provide value based education to the budding Engineers. Developing the moral behavior among the students, utilization of human resource and exemplary coordination in implementing the academic responsibility is the unique strength of the Department. The Department regularly organizes workshops, symposia and conferences in new emerging areas for the benefit of the students, researchers and industrialists.
English
The Faculties of English are striving hard to improve the communication skills of the students and make them effective for global survival. Special skill based activities are conducted to develop their communication through Softwares such as Globarena, Orell Digital Language Lab, and ‘TOEFL Mastery’. The well equipped and airy English Language laboratory helps the students to enhance the pronunciation and confront interviews with poise. British English Certificate (BEC) course is being conducted for the students to excel in their high prospective global career.
Mathematics
The Faculties of mathematics are excellent in building their scope for Engineering students.They are training the students to prepare for the competitative exams such as GATE, GMAT, CAT for their higher studies. The outfitted maths laboratory helps the students in providing regular aptitude training classes and conducting online tests which helps the students during campus recruitment.
Physics
The Faculties of Physics are guiding the students in applied physics, material science and make the students to realize their contribution in research areas. The spacious and well set physics laboratory helps the students to gain thorough knowledge of the experiments.
Chemistry
The Faculties of Chemistry have sown the basic concepts in the young minds for the application in various Engineering fields. Their main attitude is to motivate the students by providing practical knowledge of chemicals. The Chemistry Laboratory is highly furnished, to provide quality education in applied chemistry to the engineering students.
