Newton’s Institute of Engineering established the department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) a four year undergraduate programme in 2001 with an initial intake of 60 students and got approval for additional intake of another 60 seats in 2006-07. At present the intake 120. A Post Graduate program (M. Tech) in CSE was introduced in 2012-13 with an intake of 18 seats. Both the B. Tech and M. Tech programs were duly approved by the AICTE and Govt. of A.P. and the institution is affiliated to JNTU-K. The department of CSE is growing by leaps and bounds. Our Academic Director is the tower of strength to the department.
