The department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2013 with an intake of 120 and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anatapur.
The Department has excellent infrastructural facilities, which are being improved at faster pase. The department maintains excellent standards on par with other premier instututions in the state and is dynamic and goal oriented.

The department has always been encouraging the students with sharp acumen and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge to participate in research and development activities. Students are presenting papers in national level seminars, undergoing indulstrial trainings, taking up short-term projects etc. Such efforts both from faculties and the students have helped in building up a good reputation for the department with acme in the college.
