                Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department was established with an aim of imparting high quality technical education and to promote the growth of Electrical profession. It is a challenging but exciting and rewarding area to study with moral and professional standards.
                The department of EEE was established in 2008 with an intake of 60. The intake is increased to 120 from the academic year 2012-2013. The prime motto of Department is to focus on the new developments to promote innovative ideas in various fields of Electrical Engineering in such a way that it would not only fulfill its obligation towards promoting under graduates with high standards but also to cater the needs and aspirations of electrical engineering industry in particular. The department has excellent infrastructure facilities, well equipped laboratories. 
                The department has experienced faculty members with high degree of qualification and an unparalleled level of expertise in their field. The dedication of the faculty members along with infrastructural facilities coupled with perseverance of the students have catapulted the branch to the top league. Effective implementation of the given curricula through high qualified and competent faculty is ensured and continuous evaluations, assessments, tests and examinations for improving the quality of its educational inputs processes and outputs are provided. 
                Studying EEE will lead to potential careers in the areas of Research & Development (R&D), design, systems analysis, installation and commissioning, control and maintenance. This under graduate program is opted to achieve a balance between depth of knowledge acquired through specialization and breadth of knowledge gained through exploration. This undergraduate degree course provides a comprehensive foundation in the core topics of EEE relevant to emerging engineering challenges.
                The EEE Department holds several national level conferences, seminars and workshops under KETA (KLM’s Electrical Technical Association). These provide a platform for the staff and students to share their views and experience among industrialists, fellow researchers and academicians in the emerging areas of electrical engineering.  EEE Department interacts and liaises with well-reputed industries to facilitate   projects, research and consultancy in the chosen areas.
