The prime motto of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is to focus on the new developments to promote innovative ideas in various fields of Engineering in such a way that it would not only fulfill its obligation towards promoting under graduates training at high level technology but also to cater the needs and aspirations of electrical engineering industry in particular.
Consumption of Electric Power is an index to gauge the prosperity of a nation. To meet this ever increasing requirement for the specialized personnel in this field, this institution opted starting the branch-Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Faculty with higher degree of qualification and experience has been recruited who engross themselves in training the students and making them good engineers. The faculty have constantly been updating their knowledge by pursuing higher degrees and contributing papers to national and international journals.
Electrical & Electronics Engineering Association, ELEA electrifies the campus with the highest degree of enthusiasm by organizing student seminars, Technical and General quiz, debates and discussions etc. The Association is so commendable that it would organize at least 2 to 3 guest lectures of eminent filed engineers every year. In addition to this the department also arranges educational tours every year to places worthvisiting like nuclear, thermal and Hydroelectric generating stations.
The department is actively engaged in conducting State and National Level student’s symposia. ELIVISION-2K4 is one of the seminars organized by this department. The sanctioning of permission by the University to carry out research work in the laboratories is the quintessence of the efficiency of this department.
