Humanities & Science
Humanities and Basic Sciences Department is the soul of the college. The Department was established in the Academic year 2001-2002 to teach various disciplines of U.G and P.G courses. The department has highly qualified and well experienced faculty who holds highest educational qualifications such as two of the professors has Ph. D holders, five of the professors have M. Phil holders and three M. Tech holders etc. The Department has three laboratories; they are English communication skills lab, physics lab and chemistry lab with state of the art equipment.
The Humanities Department provides effective communication skills to all students irrespective of disciplines to enhance their communicative ability and caliber to compete with corporate competition. The department organizes different services which includes programs like N.S.S program, services where students going to rural areas.About HOD
The staff members are achieving academic excellence through the students under the guidance of Sri. K.JANARDHAN, HOD of Humanities Department. He is also the coordinator of student affairs and cultural programs.
The department is headed by Dr. Kodidala Janardhan, Assoc. Professor, who is actively monitoring the activities of the department. He has more than 10 years of experience. He has done his B.Sc. M.Sc from S.V University, M.Phil from Madurai Kamraj University and persuing Ph.D from S.V. University. He also published 7 Papers in National and International Conference.
Achievements
In spite of achieving many mile stones, the staff members are putting several efforts to acquire innovative methods of teaching which enable students go with successful academic achievements. The 100 % result was brought in the subjects of English and Environmental Science in the past academic years. Many students have scored sent marks in Mathematics and Physics.
The NSS program was organized by the eminent personality, The Co-Coordinator Sri. K. Murali and has been a great success.
