The Mechanical Engineering Department offers Masters Degree in CAD/CAM-Robotics which was started in 2008 for 1st time in C.G.Students who desire a complete professional education with intake of 18. The curriculum has been designed in consultation with expert academicians, industry experts and researchers keeping in pace with the present technological developments and industry needs.

The programme is conducted by well-versed faculty members. Computer-aided design (CAD) and Computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) are a pair of often interdependent industrial computer applications that have greatly influenced the chain of processes between the initial design and the final realization of a product. Ongoing refinements in CAD/CAM systems continue to save manufacturers tens of millions of dollars in time and resources over non-computerized methods. As a consequence, CAD and CAM technologies are responsible for massive gains in both productivity and quality, particularly since the 1980s.So the main objective is to give students greater breadth and depth of technical knowledge in the areas of CAD/CAM. Robotics course is applicable for designing, testing, and building robots that are productive and safe to operate as well as economical to purchase and maintain. These engineers use computer-aided design and drafting, and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) systems to perform their tasks. A CAD/CAM specialized engineer is having opportunity in all kind of industries like automobile, nuclear, mining, and aerospace, steel industries etc.
