- The Department of Civil Engineering had been established with the inception of Laxmi Institute of Technology in the year 2010. We have an intake of 120 students for 10+2 entry and also a direct entry in 2nd year for Diploma to Degree (D2D) students as per the University norms. Civil Engineering Department of LIT has developed all the laboratories required as per the curriculum of the course. Department is also actively engaged in research work carried out by final year students of Degree and Diploma course.
Technical visits to various types of construction projects & other related areas are organized for the students, which helps them to get ready for their future in the field of Civil Engineering. Seminars and workshops are organized for helping out the students in their project work. Civil Engineering has been a very vibrant department where constant appraisal and feedback combined with a system of counseling, monitors the progress of each student. The College Trust provides an active forum that extends beyond the curriculum.
