Department of Electronics & Communication (EC) was formed in 2004 to meet the engineering manpower requirement in the emerging fields of Communication & Electronics. The course curriculum has been so designed as to meet the industrial needs.
The Department has well equipped laboratories with required software & hardware. As part of the course curriculum the students have to complete a project with industry in their last semester. For project work, the students are sent to renowned Industry / Organization. Besides the studies, EC students have participated in various events at National level Technical competition regularly and have won prizes.
Department has well developed Laboratory in fields of Communication, Electronics, Microprocessor/Microcontroller, VLSI , DSP, Power electronics etc. The Faculty of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department are always interested not only in updating the curriculum, but also in enhancing the laboratory facilities to cope up with the new developments.
