Established in the year 1991-1992, the Department of Mechanical Engineering traversed the path of knowledge dissemination and generation as well as delivering over 2000 Mechanical Engineering graduates to the Nation. Over these 22 glorious years, it has carved a niche for itself in the key areas of teaching, research, consultancy, administration and community services. The Department of Mechanical Engineering prioritize the necessary revamping of Mechanical Engineering education, which is driven primarily by dynamics of technological advances and sustainable development and with active involvement of industry, alumni, research organizations and other stakeholders. Department offers B. E., M. E. and Ph.D. (Mechanical) Programmes. Department caters to 180 B.E. students, 18 M.E. students and 05 Ph.D. Scholars. Department was first accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi in the year 2002 for three years, second in the year 2007 for three years and for two years in 2013.
