    Mechanical engineers are required in both private & public sector industries of various types like automobile, chemical, electronics, steel plants, oil exploration and refining, technical wings of armed forces, space research organization, etc.

    As a mechanical engineering fresher`s can join government sector as Junior Engineers and go up the ladder as Assistant Engineers, Assistant Executive Engineers, Executive Engineers, Superintendent Engineers and so on.

The department of Mechanical Engineering was started in year 2006 with the permission of AICTE New Delhi & Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra with an intake capacity 60, the department was started with an under-graduate program, since then it has flourished to acquire new Frontiers.

    The department, apart from routine academic Curriculum takes keen interest in several other academic activities like conducting seminars, workshops, conferences, expert lectures etc.
