Civil Engineering is arguably the oldest engineering discipline. It deals with the built environment and can be dated to the first time someone placed a roof over his or her head or laid a tree trunk across a river to make it easier to get across.

Civil Engineering is the basic and most sought after professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally available environment. It includes design, construction and maintenance of essential infrastructural facilities such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings. Civil Engineering practices take place at all levels i.e., in the public sector from municipal to federal and in the private sector from individual homeowners to international companies.

How to apply

• Through UPSEE & Direct Admission through Management
• The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of B. Tech course shall be as follows:-
  Compulsory subjects: Physics, Mathematics
  One of these subjects: Chemistry, Technical Vocational subject
• For admission to first year of B.Tech., candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing minimum 60% marks without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together.

• You are eligible for qualifying in the P.S.C. (Engg.) examination of all states.
• You are eligible for I.E.S & get jobs in, Railways, C.P.W.D, M.E.S, C.W.P.C. & various other central govt. departments dealing in Civil Engineering constructions.
• You can get your placement in various giant Civil construction co. likes Larson & Turbo, J.P. Associates, Nagarjuna Construction Co., Gamon India & may other are likely to fetch lot of jobs for qualified Civil Engineers.

Placement

Since the inception of this B.Tech (Civil Engg.) course, the B.Tech (Civil Engg.) course is being taught to odd 400 students & about 400 students have passed out, of which more than 40% have been placed, 30% are doing their higher studies & some are very nicely placed. The college keeps a track & the T&P department is calling companies for site campus interviews & many get jobs through the T&P department.

Over the years, Training & Placement Department has maintained good and storng relationship with industries. It nurturers industry institute interaction, by organizing and coordinating frequent industrial visits.
