The department of Basic Science & Humanities in MIET is committed to imparting a strong foundation to the students in basic science subjects. The Teachers consistently try their best to motivate and inspire them to acquire the required knowledge in basic sciences to help them grasp further knowledge efficiently. The Basic science laboratories are equipped as per recommendation of MAKAUT and AICTE.
The faculty members, in addition to their regular teaching work are actively engaged in research, presenting papers in journals and conferences. The departments of General Science in MIET are: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities.
