    Overview

    University Institute of law and Management studies was initially setup as a National Law college way back in 2000 with vision of imparting legal education to young minds in the cyber city, Gurgaon. Being the university institute of national repute we offer various law program as per the UGC guidelines and meet the prescribed standards of the Bar council of India. UILMS is committed to provide students with learning opportunities by creating an intellectually stimulating environment using innovative teaching pedagogy including class room discussion on law subjects, seminars, moot courts, court visits and special events supplemented visiting lectures of attorneys, diplomats, business leaders, and policy makers. Experienced and dedicated faculty is deployed to sharpen the skills of the student and nurturing their analytical skill with overall development of the course participants. Institution provide host of facilities including computer lab, digital library, air-conditioned moot court room, A.C. Class rooms, wi-fi facility, cafeteria, indoor and outdoor sports and participation in number of cultural and life events to enjoy the basis comforts of life with quality education.

    With BA.LL.B 5 year, LL.B-3 year program we also offer 2 year LLM i.e. executive research program through evening classes to produce world class academician, policy maker and develop advance level of knowledge for practicing advocates. Institute has dedicated legal aid clinic through which student organises number of legal awareness camp in rural area of the state to empower them with legal knowledge. A practicing lawyer need to have analytical research skills along with effective communication skills including both writing and oral. At UILMS we try to imbibe our students with these skills by working on assignments on social problems, essay writing completion, participation in debate; extempore and symposia, creating moot cases, drafting petition, writing diary and case comments, etc.
